I agree, so if this is along those lines it makes sense to me. Of course all teams should enter the Challenge Cup, but realistically a non Super League team is never likely to win it now, so giving players at a lower level a chance to play at Wembley, and adding a few thousand to the gate seems like a good idea.
From the teams currently outside SL, any two from Bradford, Halifax, Fev, Leigh, Widnes and probably a couple of others would easily take 5,000 fans each to watch their team at Wembley regardless of the competition, and the vast majority would stay to watch the big game after so that's potentially an extra 10,000 in attendance.
Obviously not if it's Toronto V Toulouse, but either way it won't be the same teams every year anyway. It's a good idea.
