Tight game to predict is this one. Both sides decimated with injuries. Wakey have the edge in the forwards for me with Tigers having the edge in the backs. I'm going to go with a Tigers narrow win due to home advantage.

31-30 in extra time

Think you are about right there Tigerade tbf although I don’t think there is much in the forward packs, I also don’t think there is a tremendous gap in the quality across the back line. A brand new Half back pairing will be the key weakness for us I feel, going for Cas by 10 but I am praying I am wrong!

Will be there as always, can’t wait for this one.

Whichever side copes best with the changes within their squad will prevail.
There is plenty of the unknown in the Trinity line up and with a probable HB pairing of Hampshire nd Reynolds, Cas probably have the edge but, I hope not.
The form of Trinity's pack has been improving all season and with Fifita and Pauli likely to be leading the charge, this game could go either way.
I'm not sure that "golden time" will suit either side, especially with the next round on Monday.

Lets hope for a dry pitch, warm night and the Big Bopper on form.

Come on Trin !

Cas have not got where they are over recent years without some spirit and depth on the squad. If Trin still had Brough, TJ and Tupou then yes I’d fact the to beat this Cas line up. But as the two teams line up I see Cas by 12 especially if they build an early lead .

Bit negative, we have the stronger team sheet tonight (just), so if we turn up really wanting to win we won't get a better chance.

I think wakey have the better quality across the squad & that’s showing with the team they’re able to select tonight. I think they edge it in the forwards & its 50/50 in the backs for me despite them fielding an untried partnership at 6 &7.
I see them running us ragged at the ruck & winning penalties galore & then utilising fifita & Pauli Pauli out wide.
I’ve no confidence in Cas this season to be honest & can see a wakey win by 6-10 points, though obviously I hope I’m wrong.

Score - 14-22

Tickets selling fast as well.
Trinity sold out and had to ask for more.
Despite the absentees (on both sides) it should be a belter of a derby game, with the Adam Watene trophy awarder to the winners.

Watene, who represented both sides, sadly passed away in October 2008.

Top bloke and a real powerhouse up front.

Win win as a Hull fan. One of our rivals will be dropping points and giving us a chance to move up with a win tomorrow. Just hoping to see a good game.

Cas by 10

Would be nice if they could get a 5 figure crowd in.
