I thought that was pretty heartless of Ian Watson, and that response has made me even more unsympathetic to Salford's attempts to remain in Super League.

I have read that Jansin Turgut failed to take out holiday Insurance for his holiday to Ibiza . You can obtain Holiday Insurance for under £10.00 .
It is reported that he fell Three storeys from a car park . What situation must he have put himself in to fall Three storeys from a car park ? .

You can get holiday insurance for under £10- but it won’t get you much cover/ and certainly wont go far for something of this serious nature! He’s not just lost his luggage!

Campaigning for a deep attacking line

Jansin may have been stupid in not taking out travel
insurance. I agree it’s more than likely he and his mates were probably drunk and acting stupidly for Jansin to fall.

Still doesn’t mean he deserves the injuries he’s sustained and the main thing is he gets better and that’s where the focus should be. Not searching for blame or scrutinising every word from his former employer who have no responsibility to him whatsoever.
If he wasn’t in pro sport and had been sacked from a standard job there’s no way his previous employer would even be mentioned let alone involved.

https://www.gocompare.com/travel-insurance/

For £ 7.89 Travelling to Spain for two weeks : £1000 Cancellation Fee ( £ 200.00 Excess)
£15 Million Medical Cover ( £200.00 Excess)
£750 baggage Cover ( £200.00 Excess)

No viable excuse for £7.89 he could have saved his family a lot of stress and would not have to ask the general public for donations .

Also given he is a professional sportsman you would have thought Insurance would be the top of his priority list .

When I was young & indestructible I didn't generally bother with travel insurance. Now I am old, wise & fragile I would.

Reading several articles that all state Turguts injury was sustained at 3 .a.m , falling three storeys from a Ibiza Car park . Sounds like he had a few beers and whatever else and acted the goat .
Rather than trying to ressurect his career he decided to go on Holiday uninsured , got drunk did something totally stupid and nearly killed himself.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

It said on the BBC website that it was the Airport carpark so was he on his way home? Has anyone said he meant to do it (let’s hope not or whether it was an accident?

With regards the holiday insurance, his family should check his bank accounts as mine gives me free holiday insurance.
