It was this tripe I was referring to, in particular the first para. Just go and look back at our forum, most Wire posters know when we have had a bad game. The knee jerk reaction by certain Saints posters is what irritates.
Big club/small club, who cares what anyone else’s opinion is. We are a well run club in 2nd position and therefore in the running for Old Trafford and in the Cup semi finals. So far so good.

Obsessed108, To save us having to read the same tripe every week, just put “same as last week”, you don’t even need to watch the game.

I saw three knock ons, one kick out on the full, one that went dead for a twenty metre restart, one penalty when in possession for holding Tomkins in the ruck and several other poor kicks out of hand. One try doesn’t make up for a performance littered with errors and limited attacking contribution throughout.

Granted, the standard of SL is poor but you must have watched some terrible performances this year for that to not be classed as a stinker or one of the worst you’ve seen. Most of those errors came in the first half hour when Catalans were in control. Basically, if the game isn’t going Warringtons way Blake Austin can’t perform. He’s a good player but goes missing and that’s the reason he finds himself in SL and not the NRL.

It is completely understandable for Saints fans to want Blake Austin to be a flop after they all followed the Pied Piper Ben Barba into the river last year.

He fell into that river clutching the man of steel trophy under his arm. Ergo, he was the best player in SL last season.

I think this thread backs this point up perfectly. They could quite easily just ignore anything they don’t like (anything that isn’t calling Warrington the best team in the world) but are clearly incapable of doing so.

He wasn’t the best player in SL last season, he wasn’t the best player at Saints last season. Roby Thompson Makinson IMO all better, not only because they can tackle but also because they tried for the full season. He was bloody exciting for six months, I’ll give him that.

Anyone can say anything they want about Wire. But it’s just funny that 45LOB never has anything good to ever say about us.

The chip on his shoulder about Wire is nearly a full sack of potatoes.

For a rubbish little club with terrible overrated players that never play well with a crap coach in a rubbish stadium and annoying fans who never shut up, that are all insignificant to him, he really has a lot of strong opinions about every aspect of them as if we’re constantly on his mind!
