I am starting to think that myself, although I wouldn't say it with any confidence yet. They do have a 4 point buffer, and things can change fast. Put 2 or 3 wins together and all of a sudden they are looking up instead of down.
However. Their form is dreadful (the performances and more worrying than the results themselves), they have a raft of injuries, and their fixtures over the next couple of months look very tough indeed. Another 3 or 4 defeats on the bounce and they could be in a hole. That game against Huddersfield in a couple of weeks is must win imo.
I don’t know one Leeds fan who thought we would be challenging for honours this year, best we could have hoped for is mid table
Leeds fans were all over the SL page on Facebook giving it the big 'un in pre-season about what they expected their side to achieve this season and being 'mid-table' certainly wasn't one of them.
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
I thought 14 Points would be enough to stay up this year.....no team has finished bottom with more than 14 points since 2008, but I see a team on 18 points being relegated this season, making the current bottom 8 ALL possible contenders. 7 Of London Broncos remaining 11 games are against other teams in the bottom 8......wakefield v London on the final day could be THE GAME!
So no Leeds fans over the age of 12 were bigging us up then? Have a look on the Leeds forum at pre-season threads. We were almost all expecting us to be mid-table and hopefully able to give everyone a game, with the promise of further improvement next year. The fact is that even that rather mediocre aim has proven way beyond the ability of our squad.
Not that any of it matters - we are where we are because we're crap.
I just can't see it happening but it would be comedy gold if Leeds got relegated. I'm almost glad we gave London those two points last week as with Warrington losing yesterday, we could certainly afford it and still keep a 6 point gap.
Leeds will just about have enough in the tank to avoid the drop which is a far cry from the pre-season predictions I saw off many of their fans across social media assuring us they'd be back challenging for honours this year.
Comedy gold? It would be a disaster for the competition. Even as a Wigan fan I would hate to see Leeds relegated.

I think it says more about you that you’re getting your source material from a Facebook page.
Maybe I’m oversimplifying, but in a 12 team league surely that is true of basically every team?
Pretty much, from a Leeds view I think it’s only Wakefield and Wigan (who we’ve faced the last 2 weeks) that we don’t play again now. I would imagine it the pretty similar for every other team.
