We earned the right to spend money though by running our club well and building. We probably wouldn’t have been in this mess had we spent on the squad instead of the ground but unlike others we focused on the long term benefit of doing our ground up even if it caused short term pain.

Nothing wrong with spending money if you’ve earned the right to do so, that other clubs haven’t doesn’t make Leeds the bad guys, just highlights others failures.

Oh no Sinfield still created the deep mess. He’s fortunate he’s being given the luxury of funds to get out of it though. Funds created and earned by Hetherington and which McDermott had to persevere without for the longer term good.

on that showing last night Leeds will stay up, not pretty but they got the job done but i did get a bit fed up with the stripping and mauling through the game, they are a team that needs to show some grunt and they did,
that brain fart of Edens could of been a brilliant game changer had it connected but alas it seal their fate
