Looking at Wakey’s remaining fixtures it doesn’t look good if they don’t beat Cas at home next week

Saints (a)
Hull (h)
HKR (a)
Wigan (h)
Warrington (a)
London (h)

Can’t see them getting anything out of the 4 against Wigan, Saints and Wire. HKR even though they got battered last night have still beaten Wire and Hull at home recently since Smith came in so will be tough. Hull are inconsistent so it’s pure hope you get the bad version.

Could see it being a final day battle between Wakey and London for relegation if they lose next week to a Cas team that isn’t in best nick themselves recently.

So Wakey have been stuffed again. Shame eh? No doubt it's all down to those pesky refs yet again.

This particular club so deserves relegation. I'd love to see it this season.

It would be better for Super League if either Wakefield or Salford go down because of their weak fan bases, and in Wakefield's case, because of their appalling stadium. London has a small fan base but is strategically located in the UK's most important city, which is important for growing the game, while Wakefield has no strategic significance for the growth of the game.
