The shot clock really is a gimmick too far. There is more messing about & standing about waiting at scrums now than ever !

100% disagree, the wasting time before scrums in recent seasons was becoming ridiculous, its no coincidence that games are now finishing earlier

I also don’t like the constant zooming in at the ruck. You can’t see the attacking structure or the defensive line.

Just leave the shot at the wide view.

The NRL do this well, with a shot wide enough to see the ruck and defensive line and they also have a very wide angle that they use for kicks.

My son mentioned this a few weeks ago. He said that when Sky covered the Challenge cup matches they kept the wide shot and it was much better for viewing.

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

I've posted about this before, does my nut in! It's always happened, but is even worse now as The Printer says, since this new guy came in it's been terrible. In one of the Hull FC matches a few weeks ago Albert Kelly was just about to score and they cut away to the crowd so we didn't see him actually touch the ball down. It could be understandable if it's someone cutting their teeth at the job, but it's not getting any better.

Its noticeably worse recently that's for sure. Im not sure whats happened but there has been a shift in the wrong direction.

i think they're throwing poop at the wall and seeing what sticks for the rest of this season, eddie's gone, smith has gone, they've brought in jenna, fraiser and stuart, they've had wells doing lead commentating duties to see how he goes, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a typically take RL for granted audition of sorts for next year.

That being said, the crowd and coach shots and missing action is unforgiveable, as much as i loved shots of wane swearing after a knock on i can do without shots of radford looking like he's squeezing out a fart and that fat bearded bloke that sits next to him who looks like he's sneaking cheesy wotsits whenever he's not on the big screen.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.
