He couldn't care less about French RL, I doubt he even knows they've got their own league. He goes fishing, and we all take the bait. :WALL:

The performances for Wakefield Trinity of the following French players:

Olivier Elima during 2003-2007, (87 appearances, 13 tries),

Julien Rinaldi in 2002 (3 appearances, 1 try) and 2010-11 (34 appearances, 5 tries),

Mickael Simon during 2015-16 (49 appearances, 14 tries).

The try scoring ability of the French forwards, particularly Mickael Simon, was exceptional and phenomenal.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Great you have found out how to Google. Now when did you last attend a home game for a French team.

Care to share some of your photos of such an event.

I know that it's wrong to give one of the trolls any additional oxygen but, Escare was exceptional yesterday.
Great running and elusive skills but, also, a great hand off and put a few KR players on their backsides.

However, he was not alone.
After an excellent first half, where the HT score (14 - 10) really flattered KR, Trinity, with some excellent defence and strong running just wore rovers down and with a second half of 24 0 and with a completion rate over 90%, Trinity were comfortable and deserving victors.

I hope that KR manage to stay up and wish them well for their remaining 3 fixtures

Tension pre kick of was palpable, with both sets of fans feeling the strain and again, credit to both sets of supporters who behaved impeccably and observed the minutes silence superbly well, you could have heard the proverbial pin drop.

As for Trinity, a huge step towards super league survival and relief that our fete is still very much in our own hands.

So over the period of 20 years in SL those are the three players who saved Trinity

Ok

PS the Simon one is especially hilarious, a walking penalty machine who gave a try away for everyone he scored :D

Nope, that isn't what you meant, and you know it. You could ask any Wakey fan to name three players who have "saved Wakey's bacon" over the last 20 years and none of those players would get a mention. I rated Elima but he was never our best forward in those years (why would he be, when you've got the likes of David Solomona and Gareth Ellis in the pack). The other two? Average squad players we haven't missed.

I think you've shown your 'arris and have been madly googling trying to save it.

I miss Rinaldi - he foresaw the beard zeitgeist many years in advance, and made Wakefield a focal point of hipster cool before we even knew what it was.

I'm going to be disloyal here and suggest Tyrone McCarthy was the first. Rinaldi just went for the scruffy mess. McCarthy went for the sculptured Ned Kelly look.
