I'm sorry Slugger, but you're quite wrong; the man was a hirsute icon of pogonological style - way ahead of his time.

Nah. For true hipster, it has to just out at the chin and be trimmed to a neat wedge. His beard, although well-groomed, is just "not shaving", tardiness on a par with the Catalans performance on Saturday.

The performances for Wakefield Trinity of the following French players:

Olivier Elima during 2003-2007, (87 appearances, 13 tries),

Julien Rinaldi in 2002 (3 appearances, 1 try) and 2010-11 (34 appearances, 5 tries),

Mickael Simon during 2015-16 (49 appearances, 14 tries).

The try scoring ability of the French forwards, particularly Mickael Simon, was exceptional and phenomenal.

Oh dear, oh dear oh dear oh dear. Missed this one.
And You could have had a spelling field day with FREDERIC BANQUET Trinity 1997.

The reports that I read said that Morgan Escare inspired the Wakefield team. The man is a brilliant attacking player. Why can't you admit that?

They don't have to admit anything until you prove otherwise, do you have a copy of the report?

I miss Rinaldi - he foresaw the beard zeitgeist many years in advance, and made Wakefield a focal point of hipster cool before we even knew what it was.

Is that where you have a beard and a suit jacket one size too small ?

Checked, of course, with trousers too tight over polished brown Chelsea boots. But hey, they're individuals, not sheep, right.

He went very well on Sunday.
Certainly not shy of doing some graft

Tangata Key stats
A massive 28 tackles with no misses.
6 drives average 11 metre gain.
No errors but gave away 1 penalty.

A decent afternoon's work !
