Sunday September 8th 2019 is going to be a huge day for the League One candidates for promotion. Newcastle Thunder is running third, one competition point behind Oldham. On Sunday Newcastle plays Keighley, and is expected to win easily. However Oldham plays fourth placed Hunslet at Hunslet. If Hunslet can spring an upset win over Oldham, then Newcastle will overtake Oldham.

If I am not mistaken that scenario will guarantee Newcastle's promotion to the Championship.

Who thinks that Hunslet will beat Oldham?

No. It will only gaurantee that they finish the highest placed play off team in League One.
