The climate change situation, must be why Toulouse might not be attending the Summer Bash in Blackpool !
Toulouse to snub Summer Bash
Net year’s Summer Bash could be missing two teams as Toulouse Olympique prepare to stage their own event that weekend, report League Express.
The French club are set to be absent from Bloomfield Road in 2020, with Toulouse opting for their own mini ‘Magique Bash’ at their new Stade Ernest Wallon Stadium home, according to League Express.
Just a rumour at the minute budgie lad, lets wait till jeannie comes on and confirms it eh
At the risk of getting this back on track, the canadian media arent aware of this momentous signing..... How can this be? Surely part time boxer and serieal code hopper SBW is the talk of the toronto pack.....

Spot on, we have a fan called Belly could do something or other who swears this is massve.
Let's get this straight, nobody in Canada knows who SWB is, they barely know who the Wolfpack are and this meeting of the two registers 0.0000009 on the news scale in Canada.
If they were to go for a gimmick signing then surely some mid-range NFL/Candian league player would do better, someone they may have heard of. Won't matter much as I suspect SBW will barely play anyway and just trouser his pension.

Considering the toronto sun, toronto mail and the globe covered reports about the SBW signing on a daily basis...
You are once again talking out of your rear and your bitterness is getting really embarassing
See Stephelrbronjamesbazza or whatever you're logged in as......the Toronto Press doesn't know or care who either SBW or The Wolfpack are.
Let me know when their major North American TV slots in BTW.....you know, the one where they don't have to pay the production company (when they actually pay their bills) and then give it free of charge to anyone who needs "filler" stock

Let's have some links to those 'daily' headlines and not just the one-offs, I want 'daily' please. Thanks
I've just posted a link to the last report in the sun nearly a week ago and couldn't find anything recent in the globe'n'mail.....the ONLY people who think this is a big deal are RL people....and given it's the off season, that's to be expected, but one the NRL season starts, the Aussies won't care and other than a few dozen keyboard heroes on this site, totalfacistrl and a couple of others, nobody in the UK will either.
So, over on WWW.RLFASCIST .COM, there's a debate about the best (ie, the cheapest) way to get to Toronto for games this coming season. It would seem that Toronto have yet to declare there ticketing for the season other than Season Tickets, priced very reasonably at CA$399, but other than ticketing, the issue seems to be around the cost of direct flights, accommodation, the duration of the stay and the overall cost of travelling across the pond to watch a game of Rugby.......which I think is a deliciously ironic topic, given most RL fans won't attend games on Thursday nights because "it's a drag".
Anyway, the general consensus seems to be about £1,100-£1,300 will be the cost for a 5 -7 day trip, so I was wondering if Jean was making the trip when Catalans play in Toronto over the August Bank Holiday weekend, or will he be at Shark Park cheering on his beloved Sharkies?

Unfortunately, the poster, formally known as Lebron James, isn't too well known for the accuracy of his posting and is generally a WUM. He stopped posting completely for a while and then made a comeback, under a new name, when Saints found their bottle.
SBW didn't manage daily news coverage when he was at the peak of his career and although he is a great, if expensive signing for TWP, he isn't going to be headline news anytime soon, especially in a city already dominated by other mainstream sports.
Good luck to the player though, who has been box office for most of his career.
Anyone who flies 7000 miles to play or watch a sport for 80 minutes is adding to the problem of climate change. Granted, the numbers involved on their own aren't significant but, everyone has some personal responsibility.
Moving back to RL, what steps are the Wolfpack taking to develop the junior game in Canada, as this is THE most important aspect of establishing RL in Toronto and just for a bit of fun, when do you think the first Canadian player will make their debut for this magnificent club.
You are the creator of extinction rebellion and I claim my £5.
(only joking I thought it was funny most others wont ha)
