By “attitude problem” I wasn’t really thinking if the traditional ‘petulant teenager’ attitude (though that’s exactly what Connor has).
I was more thinking about the number of times I’ve seen their players almost collectively stop bothering when they are behind on the scoreboard. That leads to them getting a right hammering rather than a routine loss and that’s then harder to put right the following week. Look at some of those defeats last season - 63 points, 62 points, 55 points, 44 points (twice) and 40 points. That’s a team that gives up when the going gets tough. On ability, they are too good a team to suffer so many heavy defeats, so if it’s not ability then it’s down to attitude.
