Agreed missing a Sculthorpe, Long or Cunningham to make the difference. It was there but as usual clinical finishing from our Aussie friends when it mattered.

Not sure when a European side will win this again.

Without that Extra quality from Australia SL sides used to get it's a struggle.

It was a good game , commendable effort from saints , roosters just about deserved the W. Defended superbly.

It's a shame when this game often leads to a bashing of SL, why not just appreciate a good game today and say fair play to the winners and applaud the game ?

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Absolutely if Roosters had played anything less than 100 percent tonight they wpuld have lost.

It was. They just have a bit more quality. Remember this is their first game and that should be an advantage for SL but I don't think it is anymore.

St Helens beat everyone in SL playing like that comfortably.

When the Sharkies win another G.F?

St's blew it, they had a shed loads chances in the third quarter of the game. That cheap penalty given by Thompson was a killer.

Enjoyed that.

Why aren't Locksmiths classed as key workers?

Roosters defence is legendary. You watch them in the NRL and it's superb.

Robinson is an amazing coach.

Yeah I'd agree with that.

Anyways a close game in the offing but I fancy the Roosters for this one. Roby should be back for saints and easts have a new halfback combo. I went to last year's and it seemed much more high profile than this game. Wonder why?

Roosters by 8

Well done.

Enjoyed the game. Unbelievable effortfrom the Roosters given they hadnt even had a pre season game yet.
Thought the youg full back for Saints was way out of his depth. Makinson had a shocker as well
