Blackpool Borough became Springfield Borough and played there in 1987. They became Chorley or Trafford Borough after that.

There is also a ground called Springfield Park in London, Hackney RFC, but I don't think any league has been played there.

Lancashire Lynx played at Deepdale Rd, home of Preston N.E. in the late 90's.
In the early 00's they reverted to Chorley Lynx, at Victory Park Chorley.

As far as I can remember the Dons didn't have any fixtures against London when they played their home games at Crystal Palace, Barnet, Charlton & The Stoop

Thanks Someday yes we are both the same age I stopped watching the game about three years ago as I found it very boring & predictable five drives & a kick then hunt for a mistake from the opposition,the scrums are a joke its not the game I was brought up with there are no characters in the game anymore
