Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

Imagine thinking this is a bad signing, especially at a time where most clubs are pleading poverty and generally giving the impression that the sport in Britain is on its death bed?

Ok, you can all take the p*** when we fail to win the title again, but be grateful for when Inglis turns up at your grounds and miraculously an extra load of fans turn up to watch on the back of it.

If only some other clubs had the balls and capacity to make signings like this. The sport wouldn't be the laughing stock it is.

You'll only know if he's come for a juicy paycheck when he gets on the field but my mind is taken back to Andrew Gee and Alan Langer. Not awful but in general were at Warrington for an end of career pension top-up.

Langer and Gee and Nikau played in a very very average Warrington team...things have changed A LOT since those days. Despite not winning a G.F. Wire are now one of the biggest clubs in the competition, with numerous challenge cup and league leaders shield wins. The team is not full of bang average players, so GI will join an already good team, the current CC holders and contenders to win more silverware.

come on, thats 20 years ago, and langer was outstanding for us.

We've had worse players since then coming over for a pension top up, try a lickle harder.

A big two fingers up to the Yorkshire mafia by Warrington with this signing, not even a marquee according to our chief exec great bit of business.
