It would make sense to replace the bulls for Toronto in the superleague, and talks are going on

People said the same about Leeds United FC and finally the Sleeping Giant will return to top flight.Granted Soccer is a different animal but several failed regimes couldn't get a return on various levels of investments.
RL has given dispensations for various franchises/mergers etc so not that far fetched a stretch if as expected relegation is indeed scrapped again?
As mentioned above this mythical buyer for Bradford still hasn't materialised but i hope it does eventually. I just stated my belief that some lower league clubs would be preferable to TWP .

Those dispensations haven’t always turned out well and have, imo, bred resentment and distrust. However, I agree/admit that it wouldn’t be without precedent.

I think the best thing is to let it happen ‘naturally’. If Bradford can stabilise and rebuild to return to the top flight, then great. Or any number of other heartlands clubs with proud traditions. However, ‘natural’ under the current model almost certainly means a rich owner spending big (by RL standards) and without that all our arguments and preferences are pretty much moot. Argyle has poured in the money and Toronto have earned their promotions. It might prove to built on sand, but a lot of clubs have long-standing question marks about their sustainability - now more then ever.

When there is no relegation why is Argyle concerned about the quality of their squad if the visas are not extended for their non based UK players ?

If they fail to properly compete during the rest of the season then they may be charged with bringing the game into disrepute and could ultimately be relegated to Championship One.

It’s about time both the Super league and RFL got their act together and sorted this out once and for all.

Whilst I am what most people would call a ‘flat capper’ I didn’t want foreign teams in the RFL, the league has two major problems with TWP and Catalans Dragons.

My take is as the RFL/SL accepted them happily in the good times, there should be no talk of either not been supported

Wrong. Catalans were accepted on the basis they would be predominantly a professional French team to underpin a return the GB.v.France tests. That failed.

Wrong again. TWP were allowed into Superleague as a quid pro quo deal in which the RFL would remove the middle 8 play offs. Not because they were "Happily accepted"

What sort of help would you like Bradford given to return to SL, and when would it end? Like most clubs, without a significant amount of money being poured in each year, they’d be cannon fodder in SL.

I can’t see it being a suggestion that’d go down to well with other clubs. The attractive thing about Toronto for SL clubs is that they haven’t needed a handout from SL and don’t take a slice of the Sky pie.

Sorry mate but if you think SL clubs like TWP because they can share their cut of the SKY deal then do you think they will let Ottawa and New York in so they can take their share of the SKY deal as well? It's a nonsensical argument because there would be no Superleague on this basis as SKY would pull the plug.

As for Bradford IIRC the local council were charging them heavily for Odsal so they left. Now the local council have a hole in the ground costing them money and Bradford ratepayers are pretty cheesed off as their club is lost to the city.

Nigel Wood may not be many peoples cup of tea, but he's smart enough to be able to cut a deal and organise for the Bulls to come back. Just as much as there can be a downward spiral, there can be an upwards one as well.

Bradford Northern (1964) Ltd was just one upward spiral. Suggest you look that one up?

As for calling it racists comments you need to get a grip feller

From what Toronto are saying the governing bodies haven't done much about it for months and seems like Toronto have had enough so decided to get it out in the public domain.

The fact Toronto can't deal with the home office directly must be extremely frustrating as I know I wouldn't want the RFL or SL to handle the issue. Those guys couldn't run a bath.
