I'm not the only one offended by your comments. I get what you're saying, but like I said "Did you really need to let us know your thoughts" it was a little insensitive to say the least, do you not think ?

The lad is going through hell is family is going through hell and the rugby league family is watching and praying for a better outcome than the one projected.

There will be more money going to MND than before this happened surly that is a good thing.

You have no idea what RB has had in his career or through donations.
Donations to MND should be distributed as they see the need. Donations to Rob Burrow should go to Rob Burrow.

You are free to want something different but posting it on this thread would seem highly inappropriate. Don't keep going with it.
Accept you offended some people and leave it alone.

I'm with you on this Wildthing.
Although recognising that he was a great captain for Leeds, I never really liked Sinfield but he is showing some real class with this (and other) stuff.
The funds raised are superb but, over time the publicity for the charity will be more significant .
It's heartbreaking to see how quickly Burrow has struggled but his captain has certainly come through for him

I think that the key here is the immense good that; the game, Leeds Rhinos, Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow have done for the cause of MND. They have massively raised awareness, which is much more important that the sum of money Raised. All credit to everyone involved, it makes me proud of our great game.

It is, however, disappointing that someone uses these tremendous efforts and selflessness to try to promote a different agenda when, on this occasion, they may well have been better served to have kept their keyboard silent.

He clearly has had more support, I don't begrudge him that at all, I merely stated I hoped that the money being raised was being distributed equitably, those whom don't have a high profile, haven't had a career with well above average salary. Whilst that's not RB fault for earning more or being high profile, it does mean he is in a better position than most with MN, hence why I said I would want monies to be distributed on the basis of need. People here are deliberately turning something I said regards wanting people to have a fair shake regards getting help into an attack against RB, this could not be further from the truth.

i don't understand why people don't agree and would want anything different regards support from a charity!
