"Leigh Centurions Mourn The Passing of Andrew Parkinson Everyone at Leigh Centurions would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Andrew Parkinson who died today from Covid19 complications, aged 35. Andrew had been with Leigh for many years as our IT Manager though his role encompassed so much more. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues and friends not just in Leigh but across the rugby league community. An absolute gentleman, Andrew always went above and beyond for the Club he loved. The Directors, staff and players at Leigh Centurions are all devastated and heartbroken by his passing. A full tribute will follow in due course." Absolutely devastated, and so so sad. my heart, and thoughts are with all his family and friends. R.I.P. AP.

So sorry to hear this sad news.

Although, I didn't know Andrew he was clearly much loved and respected.

Blimey, I’m devastated. Andy was always a welcome sight when he travelled to France for matches. We used to share match reports data and his knowledge of the club at the interviews and pre match was invaluable. Top man.
RIP mate and sincere condolences to the family from all his friends in France.
