   How many paid to get in, how many stayed in the beer tents, how genuine were TWP's crowds stats.

TWP were brought in to bring a new player pool to the game and paying TV deals. Perez himself said that.

Crowds were not the aim of bringing TWP into the game but were used to claim success and you fell for it :D

Huddersfield offered free game once and still didn't get the crowds in

We've done cheap tickets in the past and hasn't boosted the crowd that greatly compared to usual

People won't go if they simply aren't interested

Toronto proved they could get more people in than all but 4 or 5 SL clubs

And you expect them to manage it in a year?

Be careful, comments like this on this forum will have you quickly being accused of many things.

However because of the success that Toronto had in finding a supporter base, which for some reason is a taboo subject, Rugby league needs a way to keep these people engaged with the game.

Is it Mcdermot and future plans, the Cccrl or will Ottawa become everything that we hoped Toronto would be?

Let me try again. Eric Perez offered the game here a new player pool of professional NA RL players, and he offered the game here a paying NATV deal. More top players and more money was attractive to the clubs so they let them in.

But TWP delivered no players at all and not a cent of TV money. In doing so they lost $Tens of Millions?

What has anything you have posted got to do with it?

OK TWP had millions of fans, but when I went to see them at Headingley with SBW I only saw about four of them

Even Huddersfield away fans come and pay in better numbers than 4............

Good to see a M62 club 'borrowing' ideas direct from Toronto in an effort to improve their attendances.
That is the M62 club that Hudgell has wanted to sell for some considerable amount of time.
Even former Super League player, and mental health advocate, Steve Ward has been attracted by Canada.

I've not a clue what your talking about would you care to explain further as I'm only responding to open gates at games and the fact that it doesn't work all season ok for a gimmick on a game or a thank you to fans support
the subject of a certain club that has gone last year doesn't seem to want to go away, you need to move on now

Huddersfield had season tickets for £99 as well
but ask your self how did they manage to run up so much debt if they got more people in than 4-5 clubs
by the way they played 4 seasons not 1

Don't charge anyone to get in, put on a big beer festival as the main attraction and don't pay any of your bills.

Ken Davey ought to try it

OK last post as we are in wind up territory............

Perez promised players "pretty quickly" through grid iron conversions which was to be the source of their instant player pool.

Funnily enough he was going to organise the conversions in which grid iron players converted to RL "pretty quickly" into a reality TV show he was going to sell the Canadian TV..........

So Perez did say he would generate TV money not "In a year" but right from from the off.

So if it's not a wind up your on, it certainly is a total lack of any research or inherent knowledge of what really happened.
