Farnworth missed today's match for the Broncos. Probably a good one to miss vs Souths.

Percival never seemed to be rated by Bennett - what are his chances of getting in the side?

I've always thought that Percival's defence was poor and that is what kept him out the side. He played one game and got peppered and never seemed to get back in the side after that.

If he's fit though I think he has to be in contention and I'd rather play two out and out centres than lose Bateman from the pack.

Didn't realise Farnworth was that size? He looks smaller on TV, maybe his teammates are even bigger, Coates is massive.

Hard to know really. I know the SL ones are definitely wrong as I'm taller than some players who are listed as taller than me.

Out for a month again!

Bloke obviously has talent but his body is unable to keep up with the rigours of playing week in week out.

Sad to say i think its time for him to seriously consider if his time in the sport needs to come to an end.
Not fair on Wakey to be paying him the big money for them to keep getting less than half a season out of him.

He needs to decide if ts time to put his health first. Are all these injuries worth the long time damage to his body

Due to the reasoning behind him being stood down for 4 weeks I think you’ve got to say well done to Wakefield from a player welfare point of view - they’ve done the right thing so hats off to them. Can’t be easy, especially when you are struggling for wins, to make the decision to stand your best player down. Tom must be gutted to be out again. Super League does need X Factor players like him but, as RagingBull has said, does he need to start thinking about the long term effects on his body?

think its a bit over board on the retirement scene but yes well done on the club to extend his time off the field for a bit

Are you for real.
Comparing ACL injuries to being out with concussion.
Maybe you should try doing your own day job with either of these injuries :SHOOT:

The ACL injuries are completely different to concussion "events". However, getting concussion in consecutive games is not good at all and being stood down for 4 weeks is exactly right.
Certainly the right decision for the player and you do wonder if he should have played in the cup game, it seemed to be a tad too soon.
Lets hope the lad is ok.

Chester had no right to play him against Catalans considering he went off the week before.

Good decision by Wakey but a real concern that a talented player has got potential concussion injuries like this. Was the one the week before due to foul play.

There should be a zero tolerance to head shots and the game has to change quickly . Need to go back to tackling around the legs not the hit them high and wrap the ball up type of tackles.

One of the few things where we are behind RU in my opinion.
