Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

Dealing with Mental Health : Sat May 08, 2021 8:47 am
Anyone reading League Express this coming Monday should see a letter from me dealing with the issue of mental health for people in general, rugby league fans in particular and also for players after they have finished playing. In this letter I put forward the view that in addition to learning a foreign language to help delay the onset of dementia by up to seven years , there is a much more interesting way to look after your mental health and well being.

It is to consider writing a novel based around your own life and times. To encourage rugby league friends try this, or perhaps encourage younger friends encourage older relatives and friends to try this I have written three pages of general advice .
To receive them contact me at wgeofflee@gmail.com and ask for Geoff;s RL Platform and I'll send them to you..

What medical credentials or qualifications do I have to suggest this. Absolutely non It is just by my having been a rugby league fan since 1947, having worked in engineering for most of my life and always been aware of the old saying about work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller" that has inspired me in my old age recommend writing novels as a healthy hobby.

Visit my web site at geofflee.net to see how humour, laughter and knowledge of your family memories and your favourite sport can help my patient patients! .
