To orangeman

I don't revel in the misfortunes of London R.L but do question their approach to achieving stability as I feel you may well do yourself.

I read your post with interest & out of it I have 2 burning questions.

Given that London R.L has been offered & given as you say both intellectual & financial support by the RFL *something not offered to all R.L Clubs* & given as you say circa £30 Million *invested/gifted* + £20 Million of Sky/RFL money as you point out is not enough to sustain London as a Super League pro team or currently a top Championship team then .....

1. What is your current average attendance ? (As it directly affects sustainability)
1a. What is stopping it's growth ?

2. Is there value in London restarting as a Championship 1 Club &
2b would it be possible to become fan owned ? Would there be any desire in that or be financially viable, albeit starting at a lower level ?

So sneakily, 4 questions really.

[quote="Traffic"]I've given you proof that the amendment to planning application is progressing which is key to any agreement to move as without it there's no way they could play there. Club have stated they are moving and the planning application is progressing, grateful to hear why you suggest otherwise /quote]

I don't suggest anything, but plenty of London Broncos fans do on social media, here we go.....

"downward spiral"
"The end is nigh"
"Looks like Hughes has
thrown the toys out of the pram"
"Really worried for London"
"40 years and nearly dead"
"no squad no backroom staff"
"They're screwed"
"Hughes has lost 90% of the fanbase"
"WRT 2022 almost no players contracted, no head coach, limited off field operation and about 100 season ticket holders

Just a random sample of London fans view on the situation, Summing it up as "London Broncos may fold" seems quite fair, unless all these London fans are all just "trolling" too??

Thats a long way of stating you having no evidence whatsoever to back up the move has stopped, Danny Ward was let go for non performance reason and the SL application was ignored.

Thank you.

1. I'm just an observer of a sad situation, I've followed London's journey since they were the main story on BBC news back in 1980 when they were Fulham. First game was a 9552 crowd against Wigan. Their hoisting to Superleague saw this crowd beaten when 9846 turned up for the visit of Brisbane Broncos. The club were on a high and fantastic to see. So was Branson leading the team out at Wembley in 1999.

It was David Lawrenson who wrote how Mr. Hughes and Tony Rea discussed the future of the club after Branson's pull out in a discussion that ended with an agreement that there was no point Mr. Hughes "Throwing good money after bad". The record is Mr. Hughes has thrown an enormous sum at London and we all may thank him for doing that. We all knew things were likely to come to an end and the 2014 1,000 crowd against Catalans in a season London could only beat a Leeds reserve team looked like the last. However time and again Hughes ponders his situation and time and again he comes back.

You have no "evidence" at all that London will go on forever, and no "evidence" that the move to Wimbledon will happen but if you follow the fans comments across the social media their feeling is that this is finally the end. It's a discussion point like it or not, and this is a discussion site like it or not........

2. Well what "evidence" do you have Ward was sacked for "Performance reasons"? If you look at Mr. Ward's performance since he took over the coaching reigns it actually is very good indeed. He did a fantastic job with the youngsters and got the club promotion to Superleagye from a very competitive Championship, and he knocked over Toronto in their own back yard. London may have been relegated 2019 but they played their socks of and there was nothing between the bottom four clubs.

Ward is a great bloke and an excellent coach who has done a great job and London are fifth in the table. "performance reasons"? Show me some real evidence

1. 250/300
1a. David Hughes ability to hire idiots combined with his amateur belief that people should be grateful that he pays for a team to play in their borough and should be lining up to attend games.
2. Depend on the finance behind any such entity as it would need Hughes Mark II But one with a concept of attracting fans = ticket revenue and also sponsors.
2b. Not a chance....the average age of our fanbase is 50+. Skolars will survive longer once London vanish
