I remember Plough Lane as a bit of a dump in the ‘80s - still far better than Milton Keynes, mind.

Donny mate.....he just sunk your battleship

Have you even read it?

"The Broncos will bring the same injection of people into the town when they are playing – but they will also offer a very different sporting event to anything ever experienced before in Wimbledon. They (London Broncos)will generate interest and then excitement and that will also lead to commercial investment. This partnership really is a win-win for everyone and the start of a new era for sport in the borough.”

I've no "battleship" here at all, it's the Broncos fans who are dismissive of yet another move and they feel yet another layer of support will be lost to the club.....and that is a million miles off this press release........

It's fair enough on any sporting discussion site to discuss the up's and down's of the game..... Wimbledon claim the move is a massive "up", and Broncos fans claimed it as a "down" and only time will actually tell, shouting "troll" instead of discussing the situation sinks nothing.

3 Not a chance....the average age of our fanbase is 50+. Skolars will survive longer once London vanish

You seem to have a battleship of your own here?

1. Where does 250/300 come from when Broncos last average championship attendance was 890??
2. Your idea Hughes paying to play at Wimbledon is because he believes people will line up to attend games is the same cynicism that puts you in line with all the London fans who equally don't see this move as a "winner"?
3. And finally "London vanish"??

Not trolling are you  or have you fallen out with Mr. Hughes perchance?

The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

If trying to get some threads and conversations going is "Trolling" then fair enough. No I aren't a Doncaster supporter but I don't use a club name to avoid sounding bias towards any particular club, and I wasn't here "years ago", and if I ever overstepped the rules which I did..... I apologised to the Mods........

London's move is one that can take the club two ways, and many fans - well most I read - think it's the end, others take the view it's just the beginning of a return to Superleague - maybe the thread titled could be superleague or bust?

Beyond London's SL ambitions is the ambitions of Toulouse who many believe have promotion in the bag, but don't apparently underpin a TV deal in France, then Featherstone winners yesterday may feel a place in SL should be theirs if not Toulouse? Then can Salford hang on in Superleague given the ground situation - is raising that reality suddenly making me a target of erm....Salford fans??

Just for clarity NOBODY at Salford said we would have to go part time if we left the AJ Bell other than of course YOU.

Nope....but your "the Wimbledon deal isn't done" stance soon started taking on water before sinking completely
Donnyman wrote:

Currently there are 500 fans permitted at Trailfinders.....half that number is their current average......the current average is 257 taking the reported attendances in the RL press
Donnyman wrote:

It's not "my idea" that Hughes believes this....it's a fact. He is on record and in print as saying his hope was the locals in Ealing would come.....but he never spent the time or.money to invite them. As for believing this move isn't a winner.....check our einsteins thoughts on repetition and insanity
Donnyman wrote:

London Broncos brand is toxic.....any phoenix club that rises from the ashes would be better going back to the crusaders. The only "asset the club has is the academy and if the RFL don't prop that up, you may as well pull up the drawbridge south of sheffield.....

Donnyman wrote:

Not at all.....exposing you for the troll that you are int trolling. As for Hughes. He's in no doubt as to my thoughts on his time as sole owner of the club and I'm not unaware of his thoughts on anyone who disagrees with him....
