Not sure if anyone has mentioned this anywhere else but apparently Dick Huddart has passed away. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/58177959 He was before my time but many top players of that era revered him as the best second row forward around. This was at a time when GB were comfortably the best international team in the world. Anyone on here see him play?

I remember his son Milton from the 80s. A cracking Cumbrian forward, who sadly died too young a few years ago. I never saw Dick unfortunately.

Saw him play all 3 games in the last time GB won the home Ashes series in 1959. A great rampaging backrower who played in 3 consecutive Ashes winning series( 2 in Aus.) . He later played in Aus and was the first UK player to win a GF there in1966 with St Geoge.
