It seems that the RFL are as bad at U Turn as the current fool in Downing Street.

Why would they move the CC Final back to May. IF we genuinely want to fill a stadium, surely July, the week before schools close is the best time to fill any stadium. If we genuinely wanted community clubs to thrive at the bottom of the RL pyramid, filling Old Trafford in October and Wembley (or elsewhere) in July with school kids is a no brainer.

Perhaps 'No Brains' is the problem at the RFL/SL?

it is digging a grave for the game as a whole long term, if it does not consult with the community game and/or schools.

It makes sense to have RFL events spread evenly throughout the season. WCC, CCF, Magic and GF are the 4 we have so having one at the beginning, one at the end and the other two 2-3 months apart gives each an opportunity to succeed and for targeted marketing to take place.

It also makes sense to put the CC as the 2nd of the 4 because we can build up to the final with regular rounds, every 3 weeks, allowing clubs to have home, away, cup, and so on for the first part of the season.
