Achieved his dreams and now concentrating on club rugby. Good servant to his country, now looking to continue his stellar service for Huddersfield.

Thought he may have held out for the world cup this year. Unless Wane has told him he isn't in his plans.

Jermaine has been a World class player, but as with all of us, Old Father Time has caught up with him.

He is still a great club player, and that is what he is concentrating on.

no - hes smart - if he were to figure in the world cup this year he would get no rest, or no proper preseason. He is in the final year of his contract at Hudds, and is playing well at the moment but there are youngsters like wardle and senior putting pressure on his place. He is thinking of the next two or three years not the next two or three months.

Going out with a possible WC winners medal is a big thing to turn down.

It would be if it were likely- but seriously?? It’s possibly our weakest international side for sometime. Certainly in the spine

Not often i do this but i agree with Jools, he has been injured after past internationals i seem to remember him taking a long time to recover after the 2017 world cup. He is still plenty good enough to play on the wing for England as his style is perfect for international rugby. I am pretty sure he would have played if available. Being the star club man that he is he has put his club future first and as a Huddersfield fan iam very thankful for that.

No his attitude is that of doing what he has always done and that is putting his family first. The reason he has never taken up those offered NRL contracts is because of his family - his eldest has been signed up for Man City for many years and is middle son has recently signed for Man United. He didn't want to deprive them of that life chance.
A winners medal doesn't provide a wage for an extra few years. A new contract does.
