Why do RL grounds have such s**** beer : Mon Oct 17, 2022 9:03 am  

St James park Heineken and canned Guinness although they only stocked 12 cans in the bar !

Headingley Tetley bitter and carlsberg .

Do RL fans just drink anything to keep the vocal chords moist or not bother drinking.

Of all the great beers available now why do so many stadiums do deals that put people off drinking !

It is not just football was at schipol airport and the only beer in the he whole airport is Heineken !
No bok no Amstel nothing .

Cas has a good real ale tent in the ground when I went this year behind the main stand...Quins RL used to have a great bar under the main stand too, a san Miguel was £6.30 at headingley yesterday, crazy price.

Leeds used to have Black Sheep around the ground but, let's be honest, the amounts of money involved in exclusive beer deals at these stadia mean that it's highly unlikely that any club can realistically do anything other than go with them.

Amazingly the Bulls have seemingly just done a deal with a local microbrewery to sell their blonde beer on draught at games next season. TBH if they had a few interesting beers on I'd be more likely to go, let's face it the rugby isn't worth watching.

its not, but they've rolled out masses of deals this summer with pubs, which its advertised in nearly EVERY pub, certainly in warrington and a lot of manchester based pubs,

you can't move for gazebos and banners advertising madri.

Most stadiums do deals with catering companies, who in turn buy mass market brands that are relatively cheap and appeal to a wide audience.

The MKM now has Efes Beer due to Hull City's Turkish owner.
