Talked to the club about a BBQ again and trying to get sponsorship and was told that because of the licenses for the retailers on the stadium premises that they would struggle to do this again, would those same licenses prevent say a Harvester or Weatherspoons opening up on the retail part?, you'd have to think that the large area of land between the two access roads would be prime real estate for that with it being very visable from the main road and right next to the stadium.

The guys with the catering contract (I forget their name) might have some complaints if half their customers suddenly went outside to buy their stuff from BBQs. Surely the solution is for
them to run alternative "summer" facilities (BBQ, beer tents etc) outside of the main building to make the most of the space.
It's January I'm Freezing my ...Monkey's off dressed like Scott of the Antarctic at the Halifax game and you lot are talking about summer BBQ's !
BTW it's Azure UK , they're struggling to get roller shutters up at the Kiosks & serve beer a more than a snails pace . I wouldn't let them play with fire , we've only just had the place built
