I was surprised to see Brian Noble removed from post, but I think I'm starting to see the reasons. His legacy is a team with no pace in the three-quarters, no spark at acting half and no kicker. A three-quarter line of Williams, Gleeson, S'au and Meli just isn't quick enough for the modern game. Tommy Lee isn't sharp enough at dummy half, and looks much better at loose forward. Obviously, Iestyn Harris has taken steps to rectify this problem by signing Logan Tomkins. The lack of a goal kicker is just criminal.
We're back in transition, but, hopefully, a transition towards a more competitive team rather than a transition towards Bradford Bulls c.2001.
