Cheers mate. Was a funny game I thought. Until the 2 sin-binnings you had a lot of field position and could well have been in front. We were struggling to make yards and looked a bit tired I thought.

I think if you'd got through that 14/15 minute spell when you were short handed unscathed the game may have gone either way. Fortunately, we scored and seemed to gather momentum and your heads seemed to drop quite quickly. Once that tide starts to turn it's amazing how difficult it is to stop and as you guys will testify after your great run... confidence and momentum is everything in RL. Just look at Leeds! I look at their squad every week and there's no way it's the worst in SL, they're just devoid of leadership and in such a massive hole they can't get out of it.

Wakey have surprised me massively this year but fully deserve a spot in the top 8 as it stands. Always nice to see a few feathers ruffled up the top! Good luck for the rest of the season!

The sin binnings were crucial and despite doing our best to blow it when we knocked on 3 tackles into the 5 mins when they were down to 11 we eventually took advantage
That said it felt like Wakefield lacked a little something last night - belief? Desire? Intensity? They had chances in the first half but our defence stood up well and they dropped a couple. Then their indiscipline kept taking pressure off us. First half could have seen either time with a comfortable lead if chances had been taken. Once we got to 24-4 in the second half Wakey were playing catch up and struggled. Still could have scored another few tries though. Didn't think the Wakefield pack got on top like they did at their place
Hats off to Wakefield for their attitude in defence - nice of Tricky to come on here saying that and Michael Carter and their fans on Twitter saying ref had a good game, sin binnings were right and own ill discipline cost them. Very refreshing after Powell, Anderson, Betts and others have been on ref bashing crusades

I have to say it's been a breath of fresh air listening to what's coming out of the Wakefield camp after last night. Both team and fans have been very gratious in defeat and accept that these things happen. Nice to hear no ref bashing and just a hands up " you were the better team on the night". Credit to the club and good luck for the rest of the season. Hope we can join you in the top 8 and ruffle some feathers

I am sorry but if that is the standard of this year's competition I witnessed last night,the game in this country is going down the pan.

I thought we were good in spells, but poor for the majority. Until the sin binning's both teams were fairly even. When we do click in spells we are fantastic and if we could keep that level of intensity for 80 minutes we would blow teams away.

Joseph had a decent game, distribution was good but when he is on the pitch we have a major lack of go forward. I am not Tomkins biggest fan but he does provide us with momentum in attack.

That's why following Salford is so frustrating, next game could be against nobody and you find Salford dining out on the previous result, this week however it's Wigan and no dining out is allowed, albeit the worst Wigan team I've seen in donkeys years, but a team that I have no doubt will still contest the grand final certainly with this years standards.
