Betfred are the new title sponsors of the Super League.

Hopefully he can smooth over the RFL with any future misdemeanors involving us

Must be something in it for him he wouldn't even help out in our hour of need, maybe the RFL are giving him a eddie stobart type deal.

I reckon they’re paying a reasonable sum for it. Super League turned down Betfair and a reported £750,000 a year deal in favour of Stobart because they wanted to associate themselves with a business brand, regardless of income, and perhaps disassociate themselves with a vice. Reality clearly hit home and they later accepted sponsorship of the Challenge Cup from Ladbrokes, and now this.

Ladbrokes seem to sponsor quite a bit of RL other than the Challenge Cup (they sponsor Sky Sports coverage and they're listed as an official partner of SL) I wonder if this will affect their sponsorship and possibly the CC deal?
