Ken Gill was the best,in my lifetime,by a country mile. What's the story of him not acknowledging the club and slagging the sport. He really was a special player and despite some of the stars they had at Widnes,he is still very highly regarded for the short time he was there. I think I read that Ken Gill, doesn't rate the way the game is played now.
As kenny gill declined to acknowledge our contact in the past even though he may be a legend to many the concencus was for steve blackley, along with kris tassle as a fans favourite. Sorry bit late having a few days away see you all tomorrow

I'm sure the likes of Baker, Gill and Glynn we're all top class, but not being old enough to remember them can't think of anyone else in recent history fit to lace Steve's boots.

Never seen anyone with such a brilliant burst of pace from a standing start as Blakely. He is a proper legend in my book as he wwnt to Warrington and found out how crap it was and came back
