So you think that a gate of 3,213 is acceptable for a heartland club when they play another heartland club, and someone who suggests its not acceptable is a troll?
The gate wasn't what we had hoped for but bear in mind Wakefield brought just 2 coaches totalling no more that 100 fans. Couple this with a few bad performances from Salford and I think 3,000 loyal fans turning up on such a hot night is better than what it could have been.
Either way it was a Salford win and with that will come a higher attendance next time out.
Getting back to the topic:
Good win even though it was riddled with mistakes but for me MOM Ratch was just out to impress. Two of his tries should have been offloaded to Broughton to make the kick closer to the sticks. I would love to see him at Salford for years to come but for me that was a performance to impress other clubs. Personally MOM would have been either Adamason, Godwin or Cashmere. Holdsworth would have been close if it wasn't for his need to create the perfect try with wild passes instead of sticking to the basics and passing to hand for a more comfortable walk over. He'll learn!
