It used to be. I think it's a single timekeeper these days, although I could be wrong. Both teams made bad errors and didn't play to their potential. Cas found a way to win, Salford didn't. Probably a lot to do with why Cas is well above Salford this year. There's a lot to be said why so much time was played when it didn't really warrant it, but you play to the hooter regardless. A draw would have been a fair result, though I think Cas fans will see this one as a lucky escape more than a well-earned victory.

As a Salford fan, I feel we seem to be on the wrong end of these kind of games more than on the right and it's starting to become somewhat depressing.

I thought every ground had a live clock these days that gets stopped when the ref signals? There shouldn't be injury time as such.

Do they not have a clock that you can see in the ground? Listened to the commentary through the Red Devils app and they didn't seem to mention any controversy, said there was still about 2 minutes left when we had the goal line dropout. Sounded like they could see a clock as they were giving the exact time that was left including the amount of seconds towards the end.

They played Fergie time the game went on until cas scored, a 46th minute try and the hooter didn't go until the 47th minute.

I hope Salford seek an explanation, that said we would probably get fined for protesting.

I'm sure every Salford player, official and supporter is totally gutted. If in doubt I think the club should study the match video in detail to carry out their own investigation. If the club think they have a case it should be made public and reported to the RFL. We're all cheesed off, but let's wait and see what happens before we make accusations of match officials cheating.

i think we may be looking for excuses im just gutted we lost, i didnt go but i was nervously checking twitter and when they scored i was proper cheesed off. But were looking like a team now who can compete for 80 mins. Did anyone go and if so who played well? I will be there for Huddersfield away

I agree and it should be simple for the officials to study the video at the same time as they check for the various infringements,just as they did when a certain team had an extra man on the pitch for a few seconds.

Excellent point. We had two points taken off us for the extra man which should have been policed by the officials. There's 6 Minutes extra time "Allegedly" and if the video is studied and it's found to be true why not give us the two points

You had an extra man on today for the most of the game. That lad in pink had a blinder! I'd get him on a long term deal sharpish!
Cas were absolutely awful today and with the amount of penalties, territory and possession you had you should've beaten us by 20+.
