Don't encourage it.

It doesn't matter what you say or provide evidence of, they always have some convoluted way of dismissing it. Why face the sheer wall of facts and evidence when you can invent and peddle some ridiculous alternative.

I'd hazard a guess that he/she is of the religious literalism type, that takes everything in their holy book literally. Searching for evidence to fit their 'facts', rather than let the evidence dictate the fact. If it isn't religious belief driving the delusion, then they don't really have an excuse.

Sheens prerogative is definitely to turn us into a team full of players with something to prove, a stark difference from the last couple of seasons where the attitude has been "I have nothing to prove I'm being paid a great salary".

If (and wow that is a big if) the earth is flat then

1: who benefits from us poor deluded folk believing it is round, why have we been duped?

2: When traveling from A to B on the earth's surface (or above it in a plane) why is a great circle the shortest path (with a rhumb line as a near approximation)? if the earth were flat then it would be a straight line

3: is it only the earth which is flat or is the sun flat too? What about all the other planets?

There's 3 questions for starters I could come up with many more ........
