After reading that article, the most encouraging thing he said was “We would not be finishing in bottom three like last year.” Not so much the statement, more the "We".
The fact that he's got the former CEO of NZ RL already doing Simms job is encouraging and after looking at his Business, EuroMaTech, you'd have to say that behind the scenes is going to get a considerable overhaul. For the better. A guy that runs a world-class seminar training company teaching other business how to do it properly at the highest level sounds like a breath of fresh air when it comes to off-field management.
I feel like I'm going to wake up at some point and this will have all been a cruel joke...

" No this can't be right , we're not that lucky "
That's what I've been thinking. After all unless you were a serious Flat Racing punter it would have been ' Dr Who? - knew about him before Monday '.When his name was mentioned .
then who would have anticipated a millionaire into the sport of kings would want to be involved in TTG, and then the runt of the SL Litter - Salford Reds ?
To say the last couple of years supporting reds have been a Rollercoaster, and the sickening feeling following the Church Meeting is a mild understatement.
Trying not to clutch at straws is difficult + the thought of being gratefull to Nigel Wood / RFL , and possibly Eamon McManus if this comes off is sticking in the craw.. never a dull moment .
