With the takeover dragging into next week, anyone know when we are likely to bite the bullet and put tickets for the Wigan game on sale?

Dearden also said on the radio that if what he understands we have planned comes off, we'll definitely make the 8 this year.

Although I remember a live broadcast of the Rugby League hour from Walkabout in town in 2002 before that last weekend of the season when he said there's no way Salford would go down.

Can't see that we have a realistic chance of the eight as even if everything was sorted tomorrow it's doubtful all the planned signings could be brought in before the Wigan game let aloe be a team rather than strangers playing rugby together.

There was no way we should've gone down that year.. We dropped points against Widnes & Wakey, then after a miraculous win against Wire away , we bombed our chances against Cas , whilst Warrington ( who were then safe ) rolled over for Wakey to give them an easy 50 pointer , so technically he was right .
Feka, said we'd definately make the top 8 , anyone who quotes that now sends a shiver down my spine that we've tempted the gods of RL to poop on us from a great height .
I just want us to make round 2 without suffering alopecia..
