Earlier in this thread, when you were sceptical about the project going ahead, I offered to pay the entrance fee for you to attend the first game at the new stadium. Contact me if you are interested in the friendly on January 8th.

Sorry if it's already been covered, but where's your stadium upto guys?

As a Saints fan, we've kinda gone through a similar journey with the projects starting at almost the same time. Ours is now complete and is currently being fitted out. There's a season ticket event being held on the 9th December and cladding will be added to the North, East and West Stands soon (new year) after planning permission was approved. Is yours near completion yet? Have Salford planned any events for the fans?

Blobbynator:- i think ours started along time ago about 2000 was the first tentative steps taken and then the rocky paths and stormy waters of government legislation followed so 11 years down the line we can finally open our new stadium.

Yes we are nearly finished and there is a charity walk planned on the 27th December from the Willows to Barton followed by an U18's v U20's match so that fans can have a look... if of course they can be bothered gettin off their fat backsides and put down the mince pies for a bit

Drove past earlier today , still only half the seats in the main stand and a hell of a lot of work around the outside to do , it will be a close run thing to be ready for the 6,000 ramp up game in 5 weeks time , especially considering Xmas and new year in that
