Coaches on game days are going to be running from the Trafford centre & The willows from 2 and half hours before kick off, leaving every 20 minutes. Will be running back after the game for up to 1 hours. £1 per person, per journey.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

also miles away from what the average supporter could afford, but good news 11 of the 12 have been sold at £10,000 a season, thats an extra income already we didn't have at the willows that eqates to 550 new season tickets.

The 10 grand will include food and possibly a higher match cost than just a ticket , so youd have to adjust your maths a bit , more likely 50% of the total to the club

WOOLSTON ROVERS ARLFC

I think they must have brought the pa system from the Willows, because i didn't have a clue what was being said. Also I hope the coaches and subs aren't going to be stood at the side of the pitch as you couldn't see what was going on at the far end.

Apart from these couple of problems I was very impressed with the stadium which was better than I was expecting. The stewards were helpful and pleasant enough, the pitch looked in great condition and the facilities were first class.

Really looking forward to the season now.

I notice that on the plan there is a ticket office at each end as well as the main stand , that is a good idea, any chance somebody could find out if they wil be in operation for the Leigh game?

Or put the ticket office number on here so i canring them direct, just lazy, thats all

I went to the stadium yesterday & was reasonably impressed, like everyone else it had it's teething problems like no bar, long queues for food etc, seats not numbered & having to turn left towards Irlam leaving the ground but hopefully these will be resolved in time for the new season.
I called in the reception to pick up my ticket for the Leigh game on the way out & picked up a leaflet which gave details of the buses running to & fro from the the Trafford Centre & the Willows which is excellent news for me although if you do not have access to the internet or managed to get one of the leaflets I just wondered how people would get to know.
I hope that it will be advertised somewhere else.
Anyway thanks for the feedback & Happy New Year to all..........

Have they got card facilities at the new ground yet? going to pop down tomorrow as I've got a load of tickets to buy for the Leyth game. Tried to call but all they have is a bloody 0844 number and until I get back in work in the New Year I'm not paying extra to call them and ask.
