Rowley "I will look forward to challenging Rangi in different roles to ensure we bring the best out of him and that the team benefits from his presence."
Beaumont "I have spent a lot of time talking to Rangi with Rolls and Jukesy (Head Coach Paul Rowley and Assistant Coach Neil Jukes) and as well as playing what he sees Rangi can run a game plan and a structure..
Rangi- "I grew up wanting to play rugby league as a kid, professionally, and the last couple of years I just haven't been enjoying it. "I've been thinking about quitting." "the way the club has treated me in the last couple of weeks has made me feel like I want to be here, and made me feel important. That means a lot."
Hmm

When we signed Hock and Chase we were warned, but optimism rules,as it should. It would be very unusual for players not to return to type. Good luck to Leigh,I hope it works out but I really would be surprised to see a Leigh side in the Superleague with both Hock and Chase still in their ranks
I thought the same myself, neither Rangi, Cory or Hansen looked thrilled to be there. Who can blame them? Whilst I am sure they'll all be picking up good money, I cant imagine the thought of playing at Dewsbury, Swinton, Oldham etc motivates you on a daily basis.
It's a huge risk from Leigh, financially and professionally.

Wow,what a shell of a man he looks in those pictures,is that what a couple of years at Salford does to a man?Hopefully Leigh can build him up again and at least make him smile
Just try to imagine what 40 years as a supporter can do to you? As for smiling at Leigh I don't think there was too much of that going on during the disasterous playoffs campaign was there? Ouch but then again you probably enjoyed the season as a whole a lot more than I did. I had to endure an ill disciplined, disruptive, inconsistent and under achieving bunch of ego's and mercenaries with zero team spirit. Thank the lord Tim Sheen's was brought in to sort it.

Haha 40yrs of torture
Oh yes the playoffs were painful but not completely unexpected, there were enough hints in the last 6 weeks or so of the regular season to suggest things werent right on the field.
Well we've got 4 of your egos now so im just hoping we can get more out of them than you did last season, only time will tell though.
Just to add,Hock seems very happy these days so hopefully that bodes well for the other boys coming in
