A superb win for FC last night 4-0 at home to Ashton United. Still in the hunt for the play-offs. Away at Marine on Saturday, battling the scousers on Crosby beach.

Make sure you visit Crosby beach. Only down the road from the ground. Gormley's Iron Men are brilliant.

All sounds a bit nawty

No game for us this weekend so I think I'm going to Chorley-Rossendale (taking price of the half price for season ticket holders at virtually every club in the north west offer!) before Cammell Laird visit the LSV on Tuesday night.

Top 5 go into the play offs. In the unlikely event of us making the play offs (if we finish 5th) we'd be away at the 2nd place side in the semi final, then away again at the 3rd/4th place side in the final if we got through, so it'd be pretty tough to go up. We play 3 of the 4 sides directly above us in the league between now and the end of the season as well.

Massive game for Salford City this Saturday when they entertain Bamber Bridge. The Ammies are currently 10 points behind next to bottom side Rossendale United with both teams having eight games each left to play. It's hoped that valuable points can be obtained from the next two games before Salford play Rossendale at Moor Lane on the 7th April.
