Cheers RP. Not looking forward to lugging my 18st frame up there but needs must as it's for charity! We're doing the 3P on 5th August so may see you up there! 2 training walks (interspersed with p1ss ups in Wasdale
) this weekend followed by the Yorkie 3P on 24th July is the training schedule apart from a few hours in the gym.
I did Helvellyn with my Dad last year and it nearly killed me so I'm hoping 8 weeks training will just about get me through it. As for matching your 19 hours, there's no bl00dy chance, if we crack the 24 hours we'll be more than happy!

Well, I won't lie to you, the National 3peaks is tough. VERY tough. But, the harder and better you train, the easier and more pleasurable you'll find it. Like I say, if you want any advice, just PM me your questions.
As for my 2011 attempts... Well, it won't be until after August 15th when I've returned from my travels. Initially I'd hoped to join a friend who wished to do it in july but he's gone and done his knee in. He'll perhaps be able to do it September though. Besides that, I'm awaiting word from a couple of other groups who want me to do it with them. Then there's the possibility of my solo attempt. Ha. Keeps me outta mischief.
