I can't help but feel that the nasty party have used the Lib Dems as something of a Trojan horse.

Call me Dave goes off on Holiday leaving Little Nick to announce all the nasty cuts to Winter fuel payments etc, so Dave can then say it was "them that did it"

Well, we now know that finance won't be a problem. There was a Swinton fan on the Radio Manchester phone in yesterday. I didn't quite catch everything he was saying because he was so bitter that just listening to him made my cheeks suck in, but he reckons Swinton are moving to the Willows next season, and that this is how Salford will fund the new stadium. It's a fair point. That £20-30 a week could make all the difference between a 12,000 off-the-shelf type stadium and the iconic 20,000 capacity one.

that is not an image of a twenty thousand capacity stadium , I take it that is phase 1 with twelve thousand, phases 2 and 3 to follow in 2082

i wish they would just build the whole bloody thing non of this phase crap , if this is the 1st phase it looks a joke one big stand an 3 little ones , other clubs will just think oh you got half a stadium couldn't afford to build the other!

Well.... if it ticks the boxes.

There are other clubs out there who's futures are in the balance because they don't have the prospect of a big stand and 3 little ones.

Who cares what other clubs or other fans think ? This will be the same brigade who think it really matters how many fans people take to away matches.

I'm just being ' picky ' , dont take me on , Only problem you might have is lack of atmosphere , if the bulk of you go in the standing area it could end up a bit ' flat '

We have a great stand at The Willows... The Shed... and we can't seem to create an atmosphere in there these days... so what would it matter ? It doesn't matter what the ground looks like... you create your own atmosphere... something we aren't very good at these days if the truth be known.

I am and as are many of us as you well know mate, it requires buy-in from the other Shed dwellers. Many are willing but the k.nobs have tried their best to ruin it, but the main issue is, there's nothing to get excited about on the park, it's give and take, some days you get the feeling the players can't be bothered as soon as they enter the field and that’s when fans switch off.
