If it's not forever reds why, do you have associates of the company regulating the spending of the money. Not only that there appear to be "pally" trustees with the money. I get it's for a good cause but how this is not a conflict of interest is beyond me. Is no-one challenging the people "trusted" with their money. It the same cronies as in FR and FR tries to convince people there is no clique?. I'm not here spoiling for an argument but it basic observations and no-one has challenged them?

I have not got a clue what you are talking about in your post Programmethrower. But come along to the meeting on Thursday and explain yourself. Get involved with what a lot of people are trying to achieve to keep the club going. If you have any ideas or valid input you are more than welcome.

IF it is the Doctor then it would be a fantastic coup. He is a gambler, he speculates and he already pays £150k per month out of taxed income just for Training fees. He wont be messing about & if it is him then its going to be an exciting ride.

I've stayed off the Turkey for a bit,as well.
I've no connection to Forever Reds or the fundraising operation but ,for heavens sake,leave them alone.
The thing that binds them,or makes them a clique, is that they want to do so something rather than do nothing .
If it all goes tits up it won't be for the wont of some people trying,rather than questioning every little detail.
Go along to the meeting and just ask the question,make your point,whatever, and listen to the answer

Anyone who is willing to put a few million in is exactly what we need at this stage.

I suspect there is some deal with Peel and hotels but I don't actually care at this stage.

We need to survive.

i just feel you need someone who's gonna fix the problems at salford rather than someone who'll chuck money at it then get bored and walk way....is kashkou more interested in getting into bed with peel than being a owner of a RL club??



anyway we'll see....as long as it gets you through the season.

Yes because we want another owner like Wilkinson who spends f**k all every year keeps us at the foot of the table sells our bet players which keeps attendances low and holds us back as a rugby club! We don't want a guy whoa willing to throw money into the ring create a successful RL team who people will want to pay to watch? Are you crazy!
