You have answered my question. I have noted that The Council or Peel Holdings have yet to put their hands into their pockets as the NWDA have funded the ground clearance/preparation. Do you have anyone to build the stadium yet? I know it was out to tender, but haven't seen anything about a final decision anywhere
ps I don't suppose the residents will have to stump up too much interest on 10 mill
He was shot in both arms , and both legs. He later died because of his injuries. Tommy 25th March 2007.
Salford City Reds are the National League Champions again and nobody will ever win a Grand Final more dramatically than this. Division One champions, Grand Final winners, winners of the Northern Rail Cup; everything their hearts desired. Down and out? Not a bit of it, they are never out. Memories are made of this forever and a day, Salford fans will ask "where did you watch the 2008 Grand Final? Where did you see John Wilshere save the day with the last kick of the ball?"
I looked back over the posts just on this page. Anyway I was just asking questions. Although if building doesn't start in November, I will probably be back along with Starbug
How much was Salford Council giving towards the costs? With the Government announcing big cuts to the amounts they give to local councils, the result could be a scuppering of plans of yourselves, Wakey and Cas.
Wakefield council are not putting any money into either Trinity or Cas's stadium.
Wakefield have full funding available as was confirmed today during the Planning Meeting.
Cas have a funding issue to which we hav'nt yet seen a proposed solution.
Wakefield and Cas now both have OPP but Castlefords is near to expiration as far as I know, I will stand corrected on this.
The momentum is now with Wakefield who are forging ahead with Full PP, have contractors ready and the money to get going.
Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Yeah he does a fair bit of trolling on here about the new ground
Me a ' troll ' , never , as I have said , we've been through it all already , just be patient , you probably are safe now , as it will be started in time , and this time the RFL will be just happy to see anything , rather than just pretty pictures
