If we couldn't get a younger player, he'd defintely do as a stop-gap for me. He looked very impressive against us, and has dealt with the move to RL very well. Unfortunately, I suspect some of our fans aren't quite mature enough to handle the situation of having him in the squad.

As far as I can tell it was just rumour. Chan and O'Hara were both supposedly signing for Widnes, but O'Hara is also rumoured to be Salford bound. Crusaders exit from SL could really set the cat amongst the pigeons. There could be a bit of a stampede now? Talented players bad team, similar to ourselves.

O'Hara said on Twitter last night that he wasn't coming to us (unless I read it wrong and he was talking about Sammut).

Im pretty confident we could find someone who is younger than him.

Infact im sure everyone playing pro RL is younger than him (not sad so not looking into that)

So simms has said we aint spending to full cap next year....wonder how much short of it we are these days? I guess thats gonna have a major say on the signings we can make.

Out of interest, have the club given any indication on how long it will be until we are spending full cap? i.e they said more finance when we move staidums...just wondered how quick that money comes through to the side? I know it depends on crowds...but just if they have an average crowd we need to get to, to spend full cap

Just wondering why Richard Moore from the CC hasn't been mentioned in the fire sale?

A good hard working prop, British and when you read about the difficulties he is currently experiencing with his son being ill you would suspect he'd be highly motivated to grasp any offer of a playing contract with both hands.

Well worth the punt of a one year rolling contract if you ask me.
