While I agree it's hard to see where those extra minutes came from, it's the idea that there's some sort of conspiracy against us that I find hard to agree with; the idea that the timekeepers fiddled it so that Cas could snatch a victory. That's Manchester United stuff.

Speaking of daft conspiracy theories, over on TotalRL, one Swinton fan has speculated that we've brought Ian Watson over now in order to help ensure Swinton get relegated. I think even Mulder and Scully would file that one in the round filing cabinet.

Could see the clock clearly from the TV gantery and it did stop every time the ref asked
we are improving massively could have won but we look forward to the next challenge

I've said it for a while now; these small steps we are taking under Harris will eventually come to fruition next season.

Just to clarify. What is the official situation when a ref holds his hands up to stop the clock, and then forgets to wave to the timekeeper to re-start the clock. Does the timekeeper just use common sense and starts the clock when play resumes ?

To be fair, he's probably looking for any excuse other than blaming ourselves for the lapse in concentration.

The time wasn't an issue. Our own inability to take advantage of the possession we had in their final third was.

Tim Roby has been demoted to Barrow vs Whitehaven this week.

With Silverwood missing altogether this week that means refs J.Cobb and G.Stokes are taking charge of SL matches his weekend, whilst one of the regulars take charge of 14th vs 9th in the Championship.
