As one of the fans from Cadishead the club as let us down
When we had a bus to the ground it was a total joke
More was put in to getting Warrington fans to the ground then Salford fans
It was so badly run no bus turned up, and when the bus driver went to another set of pick up no turned up.
(left hand told one set of pick up, the right hand -driver was given another)
So why should we go all the way to Swinton or any part of Salford to see our team.
When the problem is not where we play but the club and players.
In the last few years we sign players who do care about the club.
We have chairman who signed up players but he did not know what he was doing.
The only person (in is words who can control I’m) as gone to Hull KR.
So where does it leave us?
The club website this says one of our players is playing his last game on Sunday if that’s the facts we are down

You're quite correct Bryan, we hear anomalies like this on a weekly basis. The Club really needs to buckle up on it's quest to appeasing its support. On the other hand, the Club has obviously got the Irlam fans in their thoughts by firstly laying the Bus on, but somewhere between booking the Irlam/Cadishead bus, to the fans getting to the Stadium on that bus, there's a massive managerial logistical blunder where essential proactive decisions have clearly been ignored or even worse not been introduced. Who the responsibility lies with on this matter I'm not privy too, but it does need reporting and solving, because it's the small things like this, that people get pee'd off with and think Sod it, I can't be arsed if they can't. Which then takes another 30-50 paying customers off the income stream, because no decent logistical proactive decision has been made and overlooked. In simple terms, it's called shooting yourself in the foot.

Am I missing something here but don't both the 67 & 100 buses go to Irlam & Cadishead? Why the French Connection UK should there be special buses put on by the club for fans feom that area? They have the easiest commute of any fan bar those living in Peel Green!

Exactly my thoughts on the subject.
We have one supporter who comes from Stoke each match day,Vinny is his name, and the other week Radio Manchester had Jack Dearden,Trevor Hunt and Dave Woods saying how difficult it was getting to and from the ground,then Vinny rings up at 5.50pm and he had just got in after the match and was ringing from Stoke,none of them noticed what he was saying.
There are lots of other supporters who continually turn up ,home and away,and these people have made their own arrangements regarding the travel etc.
Dave Woods was saying that the club should go out into schools etc,its a pity that he hadn't bothered the check the clubs website to see just how many youngsters the Foundation have connected with recently,but there again its only the bad news that some people are after.

Exactly, the club never ran buses from Irlam & Cadishead to The Willows so why the need to run them to Barton?

If you feel inconvenienced having to do a 10 min journey on public transport then what hope is there of attracting decent crowds.

Sorry you all missed the point of my post, it was not the issue but the fact the club got it wrong.
This is one example of many.
How many times has the club put on offer and the fans turn up be let down by the players.

Fair enough. The club has got so many things wrong on and off the pitch whether it be the same old mistakes or new ones.

I note that Leigh offered free entry last week similar to what we did against Catalans last year. I wonder if they collated details from spectators for marketing purposes or just waved people in without taking any details like we did.

I believe we took details of names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses, in return for those Batley game tickets. Hopefully, we'll be able to get some of them back - to pay! - next season.

On that note, I hope we will have the derby games against you next season. Despite what your fans say about the inaccessibility of Barton, to a Leyther, it's considerably more accessible than Hull KR! Good luck next week - assuming you finish above London!

Spare a thought for London fans who depending what there home ground is that season as they move quite a lot could have 2 hour journey to watch there side at home puts your moaning about your travels into perspective

if im correct about the bus, it was done in conjunction with cadishead rhinos, and the offer was given to any rugby league club in the area, they had to sell a given number of tickets. and to clarify, the bus hasnt run for 12 months.
