don't worry, they got their punishment - after the game the wind was really icy (brass monkeys !) and they were shivering and looking for a taxi into town - I was on the point of offering them a lift into town which is about a fifteen minute walk away when a taxi turned up
as I said, nice kids - totally bonkers but with a few too many ales inside them
a good bunch - hope to see you all again next year
The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

One likes people much better when they're battered down by a prodigious siege of misfortune than when they triumph.
I saw them after the game and they were great - you can't ban people for enjoying themselves, maybe just try to educate them ...and ask them to show a little respect - it's not exactly a hanging offence !
Well said but at Salford we have the internet judge jury and executioner's who want anyone who so much as farts banning from the club.
I am sorry to say I am not one to complain when someone farts as someone suggested! I was being very polite when I suggested that some fans were disrespectful & their behaviour in my opinion was way below the taste of acceptable decency. I also don't believe it is a football element creeping into our sport, more a social problem, believe me when I say some really want to take a hard look at themselves. The vast majority were respectful pity a few let us down.

I actually agree with you, and like you say it's a social thing not a Salford thing unfortunately there are nobbers everywhere. But I stand with my point that it's not a banning offence.

Yes that's the notion except and do nothing, fans are a representation of the club they support.
Maybe England should kick 90,000 out when they boo the visiting teams national anthem ? And the fans of England RL be banished when they boo one of there own (S.Tomkins)
No doubt the way you'd hand banning orders out we'ed be down to one stand open at Salford with all 1,500 singing from the same hymm sheet ?
This whole football fans at rugby games is a load of crap! I support both and attend both games, football fans aren't even as bad these day it's stereotyping, so get over it people. If rugby fans are so great, what about fighting at Warrington a few weeks ago? remember the Halifax fan getting KO's by some Featherstone fans suppose they where Hull City supporters and maybe Leeds support with the Fev lot. Where British and alcohol are concerned there will always be elements of trouble regardless of what sport they follow! You only need to have a look at some of the documentaries televised these days to gather the British consensus with alcohol involved! Also for you nerd out there I know Iv'e contradicted myself in the post, deal with it
Easy now. It was just a one-off (as far as I'm aware) that happened to occur when I was present. Five Wigan Atletic fans on a jolly in the south of France is hardly judgment day, is it? Theres no need to respond to an anecdote with the ills of the rugby league supporting fraternity.

thanks for your kind words, the lads were my son and his mate, they were stood with me, the unruly element was just in front of them, i got the bus back, he is 20 so he can look after himself. im my earlier post i said wannabee, being a football fan and season ticket holder at a certain team that plays in red, I know the majority are good lads. in any sport some nutters do attach themselves. But if my lad and his mate caused any offence by wearing bright red body suits i apologise.

Come on I thought you'd have more gumption than that, you seem to have ignored the following which you can't possibly condone?
& the vile chants being made to a young group of cheer leaders.
